- I used to be a "bag-lady" but now I am "just a girl." In March 2008 I literally came back from the dead when I found the strength and fire to change my life. I lost almost 150lbs, escaped an abusive marriage and created a life I wanted to live. I restricted calories, eating natural and organic whole foods; and I exercised for as much as 12 hours a day. Less than a year later, I was someone new. I have maintained my weight loss with some fluctuation for almost four years. I am an avid runner. I enjoy cycling, lifting weights and strength training, hiking/backpacking, long walks, kayaking, and camping. By burning my inner BagLady I was freed to become the person I was meant to be. Join me as I continue my journey. My hope is that it inspires you to start your own. Anything is possible. I am Living Proof. YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE.
